Fordwater Kingsham

Fordwater, Kingsham site is an extension of the 14-19 department based on the grounds of Chichester High School. It provides education to a group of students who are preparing for their transition on from Fordwater. The building has several classrooms, a hall, common room, playground and allotment area which are used to provide an exciting and stimulating curriculum for those that attend. Across the whole 14-19 department the emphasis is on supporting young people to develop their interests and skills whilst also developing preparation into adulthood.

At Kingsham we continue with the Enterprise businesses with Upcycling and Arty by Me based here as well as leisure on a Friday where young people get to participate in activities outside of the classroom. The common room is used for classes to prepare, cook and serve a meal to the rest of the site, again supporting the development of life skills.

Whilst we are on a separate site to Fordwater main site we very much embody the Fordwater values, ensuring that all young people and staff across the sites collaborate and celebrate our achievements.
