Numeracy
At Fordwater School we believe that Numeracy encompasses the teaching of key skills that help us to make sense of and contribute to the world around us. It is through Numeracy our pupils learn to develop problem solving skills and apply them to everyday life.
At Fordwater we recognise the importance of teaching Numeracy across the 10 aims of our Fordwater curriculum. We utilise opportunities to practice core mathematical skills and concepts throughout pupils learning experiences at school, enabling them to generalise their understanding to the real world.
