Fordwater is a great special school with many ‘outstanding’ features supporting children age 2-19 years with a range of special educational and complex learning needs including PMLD, SLD, and ASC. The school is on an exciting journey of development and are looking to expand our enthusiastic, committed and experienced team.
We are looking for a Class Teacher who:
- Has experience of teaching pupils with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs or a teacher with a commitment to learning how best to support our pupils to achieve their full potential.
- Can be flexible to use their skills with a range of ages and abilities
- Are resilient and able to demonstrate a positive caring attitude
- Have proven ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Are highly organised and able to plan, deliver and reflect on best practice within the classroom and as part of the wider school
- Are committed to working in partnership with families and other professionals
